  6. Now, select the Off option from the three given options.

Creating a new Administrator Account

  1. Press Windows Key + X and click Settings from the menu.
  2. Go to Accounts.
  3. Select Family & other users.
  4. Find the Other Users
  5. Now, click to Add Someone else to this PC option.
  6. Select the I don’t have this person’s sign-in information
  7. Choose the Add a user without a Microsoft Account
  8. Enter the name and password for the account.
  9. You will see a new account is generated in Other users
  10. Select the account and click on Change Account Type
  11. Select Administrator and click Ok.

Try opening the files and folders in the new account. If the problem is gone, then move your important data to this account.
